Rare Books

The knowledge of having a bit of history in your hand is priceless. That is what you get out of collecting rare books. The joy of knowing that what you are holding had been held by somebody famous. The feeling that you have in your possession something that many people can’t say they have.

Collecting rare books is a hobby that is hard to beat. Rare books have been through troubled times and good, and have come out winners. Over the years books were intentionally burnt, destroyed by fire or simply thrown. Some were printed in small quantities literally some were 20 or less in their first editions and went on to become masterpieces. Wuthering Heights had only 350 copies printed of the first edition.

Rare books have behind them a story of lasting and survival. They were great to begin with but are legendary now. Each book tells a story, a story of its history.
